Client Relationship Manager

Riley, who joined the team in December 2024, has a keen eye for detail and passion for helping others – perfect for her role as a Client Relationship Manager in our Sioux Falls office. She grew up in Cherokee, Iowa, a small town of just over 5,000 people, and attended the University of South Dakota. She holds Associate Degrees in both Nursing and Health Management.

Client Relationship Managers work closely with the Advisors to:

  • Answer account service questions and resolve concerns
  • Process transfers and withdrawals, walk you through the paperwork
  • Assist new clients with on-boarding, open new accounts
  • Coordinate the client meeting preparation process and ensure follow-up tasks are completed
  • Work side-by-side with beneficiaries to help make the transition smooth and eliminate as much stress as possible

Riley and her husband, Tyler Miller, have four daughters, two dogs and a chinchilla. When not working, you will likely find her spending quality time with family, enjoying a good sports game (football and basketball are the favorites), or indulging in a little retail therapy!

What is your goal when helping (our) clients?

To build trust and confidence. Clients should feel heard, understood, and confident. I strive to earn the trust, remain patient, and empathetic in all interactions.

Why is our work and what you do in your position important?

As a Client Relation Manager my role is crucial to ensure the clients have a seamless and positive experience.

How do your past experiences help you better serve clients?

Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated precision and attention to detail in drafting and reviewing documentation. I excel at identifying even the most subtle yet crucial elements, while also leveraging my strong empathy to ensure clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported.
